BRITISH COLUMBIA

Multiple weather warnings in effect for the province – intermittent weather already in effect and heading into next week.  Travel is expected to be hazardous in many areas due to wintry weather mixes and blowing snow advisories.

ALBERTA

Central regions of the province under Snow Storm Warnings – travel is not recommended and should be postponed until conditions improve.

SASKATCHEWAN

Blowing Snow Advisory in effect for western /central regions down to southeastern areas.  Road conditions expected to deteriorate throughout the day becoming hazardous. Non-essential travel should be postponed.

ONTARIO

Driving conditions southeast of London, Sarnia to Chatham, Windsor and Port Colborne to Buffalo regions are expected to be poor later today due to mix of snow/rain and dropping temperatures causing deteriorating road conditions.

NOVA SCOTIA

Road conditions across the province are covered with many slippery sections. Delays can be expected especially in the Cape Breton region as visibility is reduced with some road closures at the northern tip.

NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR

TRAVEL NOT RECOEMMENDED HWY 470 FROM ROSE BLANCHE-HARBOUR THROUGH PORT AUX BASQUES AND NORTH TO NORTH BRANCH!!

Snow Squall Warnings continue for the island with visibility significantly reduced making travel hazardous. Road Conditions throughout the province are snow/ice covered – delayed travel may expected in Corner Book, Deer Lake and along the island’s western coast line due to poor roadways and limited visibility.
