Southwestern regions remain under Snow Squall / Winter Weather alerts due to Lake effect snow – this includes the Ottawa Valley.
Bursts of flurries and blowing snow may make travel difficult at times.

QUEBEC
Winter Travel Advisory in effect for Eastern Townships.
Environment Canada has advised – “The combination of snow, wind and cold temperatures could produce poor travelling conditions, affecting visibilities and making roads slippery. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”
NOVA SCOTIA
ECC has issued the following statement for Nova Scotia – “A series of disturbances giving snow will affect the region Wednesday into Thursday. Total snowfall amounts of up to 20 cm are possible over the next 24 to 36 hours. As winds strengthen on Thursday, periods of blowing snow are possible, especially over exposed areas”
