BRITISH COLUMBIA

Travel conditions expected to be poor through southwestern regions of the province due to a multi -day weather event.

Environment Canada has issued the following statement – “Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.”

ONTARIO/QUEBEC

Winter Travel Advisory issued for a span from Lake Huron across to  Sherbrooke.  Freezing drizzle followed by snowfall will contribute to deteriorating road conditions.

Sources from The Weather Network have advised – “The corridors at greatest risk of seeing the freezing rain or drizzle include Highways 7, 28, and 401 between Brockville and Cornwall. There’s also a brief chance for freezing rain to occur in cities such as London, Woodstock, and Cambridge in southwestern Ontario.”
