Canadian Transit & Weather Updates – February 13, 2025

ONTARIO

Significant winter storm this morning. Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Due to inclement weather – transit / pick up / delivery delays are expected across the province. Multiple road closures due to treacherous road conditions!

QUEBEC

Rapid accumulations of snow are expected in several regions of Quebec. Road conditions could deteriorate quickly and cause road closures. Winds associated with snow will result in sometimes zero visibility conditions. Be careful, avoid traveling! Delays in transit certain.

NEW BRUNSWICK

Most of NB is expected to be hit 20 + CM, Western NB, it has already started snowing, most are expecting heavy snow this afternoon though the evening. Delays are expected! Grand Falls Terminal closed.

TRAVEL NOT RECOMMENED – TRANS CANADA HIGHWAY

NOVA SCOTIA

Snow and freezing rain incoming for this afternoon and may result in transit delays.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

Heavy snowfall with 25cm expected this afternoon in combination with limited or zero visibility – road closures expected.

NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR

Snowfall to make an appearance this afternoon resulting in poor road conditions causing delays.

CONFEDERATION BRIDGE 

Under wind warning currently and may result in restricted crossings.
