ONTARIO

Snow Squall warning in effect for regions off Lake Huron and Georgina Bay – up to 15cm additional snow fall expected.  Peak rates of 2-4cm/hr may result in poor visibility  – non-essential travel should be posteponed.

  • Hwy 21 from Amberley to Tiverton closed due to poor road conditions

QUEBEC

Winter Storm Warning in effect for The Lower St. Lawrence and the Gaspé Peninsula and Southern, Central and Eastern Quebec (for Sunday into Monday).  Up to 30cm possible with strong winds.  Travel may be difficult due to quickly accumulating snow.  Multiple road closures in the Bas-Saint-Laurent-Gaspesie-Iles-de-la-Madeleine and Cote-Nord regions due to harsh weather conditions.

NEW BRUNSWICK / NOVA SCOTIA

Delays across the provinces expected today due to blowing snow and icy road conditions.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

Due to bridge closure and weather delays are expected for the Island today.  High winds and and recent heavy snowfall resulting in blowing snow causing poor visibility.

NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR

Multiple TRAVEL NOT RECOMMENDED and ROAD CLOSED ADVISORIES due to multiple weather warnings for the province – Wind / Winter Storm / Blowing Snow and Labrador has a Blizzard Warning.  Conditions expected to continue into Saturday.  Transit / delivery delays are expected due to hazardous road conditions.
