BRITISH COLUMBIA

Sections of Highway 16 washed out in Haida Gwaii and flooding from Prince Rupert to Terrace – no detours available.

ONTARIO

Snow squall warnings continue for southwestern Ontario today and likely into the New Year.  Blowing snow and up to an additional 30cm possible.  Travel conditions continue to be hazardous with sudden reduced visibility at times.  Road closures may continue.  Delays in transportation are expected to continue until the system fully passes.

NEW BRUNSWICK

Up to 30cm of snow expected for the province heading into New Years day making travel conditions difficult.  Transportation delays and travel cancellations possible.

NOVA SCOTIA

Snow Squall watch for the province today.  Heavy snow combined with strong winds may result in deteriorating travel conditions.  Delays in transport expected.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

Up to 20 cm snow possible heading into the New Year with the heaviest snow fall expected Thursday evening.  Travel conditions could be difficult.
