BRITISH COLUMBIA

Metro Vancouver and surrounding area under a Rainfall warning.  Up to 50mm of rainfall expected today which may result in pooling water and washouts – transportation delays are possible in the region.

Snowfall warning issues for the below Highways – up to 25cm expected from this morning through to tomorrow morning.  Travel may be challenging and result in hazardous driving conditions:

  1. Coquihalla Hwy – Hope to Merritt
  2. Hwy 3 – Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass
  3. Sea to Sky – Squamish to Whistler
  4. TCH – Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass

ALBERTA

Southwest regions of the province under a Wind warning – up to 100km/hr.  High-sided vehicles may have delayed transportation due to unsafe driving conditions.

ONTARIO

Freezing Rain warning issued for southwestern regions – up to 5mm of ice accretion possible. Transportation delays possible due to slippery  road conditions.  Local utility outages are also possible.
