ONTARIO
Drivers in southwestern Ontario may expect delays due to weather and road conditions today.
ENVIRONMENT CANADA has issued the following – “An intense band of lake effect snow continues to affect areas south and southeast of Lake Huron this morning. Snowfall rates of 5 to 10 cm per hour along with occasional lightning and thunder are occurring under this band. Conditions should improve later this morning. Travel will likely be extremely hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Road closures are possible.”
Areas south of London have experience multiple delays on the 401 this morning.

Ferry crossings again cancelled for today in addition to cancellations for morning of November 12, 2025 – due to strong winds.
