Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel advisory for regions off Lake Ontario – this will impact the 401 in said regions. Reduced visibility due to heavy snow bursts may cause hazardous driving conditions and contribute to transportation delays. Snow may transition to rain towards the early afternoon.

As of 07:20 this morning – Confederation Bridge issued a restricted vehicle crossing – (restricted to vehicles towing trailers, motorcycles, highsided vehicles including trucks, tractor trailers, recreational vehicles, and buses.).
NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR
10-20 cm of snow expected for Churchill Falls / Valley. Travel conditions may deteriorate quickly – delays expected in the area due to heavy snowfall accumulation.
