Wind Warning in effect for Metro Vancouver – Southwest, Metro Vancouver – Southeast, Greater Victoria, Southern Gulf Islands, and East Vancouver Island – Nanoose Bay to Campbell River overnight into Saturday.  Peak winds gusting to 90 km/h – power outages possible

NOVA SCOTIA

Rainfall Warning continues for Guysborough County, Pictou County, Antigonish County, Inverness County – south of Mabou, Victoria County, Sydney Metro and Cape Breton County, and Richmond County. 20-30mm possible.  Flash flooding and pooling water possible.

NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR

Heavy rain continues into Saturday morning for the province – up to 90mm expected in some regions.  Similar storms in the past have caused: – hazardous driving conditions from water pooling on roadways – elevated water levels in creeks and streams – scattered utility outages.
