Snowfall warning continues for central regions – no closures at this time however poor road conditions may result in transportation delays.

SASKATCHEWAN / MANITOBA

Transportation delays certain due to hazardous road conditions, travel advisories and road closures as storm makes its way across the provinces.

SK – ROAD CLOSURES 

  • Davidson to Dundurn
  • HWY 16 from Wynyard to Hwy 2

SK – TRAVEL NOT RECOMMENDED

  • Melfort
  • Tisdale
  • Humboldt
  • Biggar
  • Maidstone
  • Lloydminster

MB – ROAD CLOSURES

  • Hwy 5
  • Hwy 10  – Dauphin to Winnipegosis

ONTARIO  / QUEBEC

Snowfall warning for northeastern regions to taper by tomorrow morning.  Up to 20cm possible resulting in possible road closures and poor driving conditions.  Transportation delays possible.

Freezing rain warning beginning this evening into Sunday morning for southern regions of Ontario and western regions of Quebec – major ice storm likely to produce power outages, slippery conditions resulting in hazardous travel – transportation delays expected.
