SASKATCHEWAN

A Rainfall Warning has been issued by Environment Canada for southern regions of the province from Kindersley to Wynyard. “Heavy rain will fall beginning Thursday evening and continuing through the day on Friday. Periods of rain will begin sometime in the late afternoon on Thursday that will impact portions of southern Saskatchewan. General rainfall amounts will total 40 to 60 mm, but in addition to the relatively steady rain, some locations will receive heavier bursts of rainfall that will fall very quickly. Any locations impacted by these quicker impulses of rain could see rainfall totals in excess of 80 mm by the end of the system’s impact.”
