Southern and northeastern regions may experience a high impact winter storm commencing tomorrow evening and carry through to Thursday – up 40cm possible. Risk of freezing rain turning to snowfall for southwestern regions. Travel is expected to be hazardous and should be postponed if non-essential.
QUEBEC
Winter Storm and Snow Squall watch in effect for southern and central regions of the province. Up to 35cm possible overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Visibility during storm maybe be reduced to nearly zero resulting in poor driving conditions.
NEW BRUNSWICK
Up to 15cm of snow in the forecast for central regions of the province beginning Thursday morning and set to end by evening. Prepare for winter driving conditions and difficult travel during commuting hours.
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Travelers should prepare for poor driving conditions in western regions Thursday morning into evening as significant snowfall is expected – up to 15cm.
