WILDFIRE ROAD CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT FOR ALBERT, SASKATCHEWAN, MANITOBA

Highway 97 (Alaska Highway), in both directions. There is a wildfire between Grouse Trail and Toad Mountain Rd for 161.9 km (25 to 187 km north of Fort Nelson). Single lane alternating traffic. Status of road could change quickly depending on wildfire status.

Highway 52 E, in both directions. There is a wildfire between 209 Rd and Stone Creek Rd for 24.0 km (114 to 90 km east of Tumbler Ridge). Road closed. Highway closure location has changed. The Highway is closed between One Island Lake Road and Borden Creek Road.

Highway 686 between Red Earth Creek and Trout Lake is CLOSED due to wildfire. A mandatory evacuation order is in effect for Peerless Lake and Trout Lake.

Highway 671 / Kelly Lake Road at the Alberta / BC border to Range Road 130, southwest of Hythe, is CLOSED due to a wildfire in BC

MANITOBA – EMERGENCY ALERT – Manitoba 511   

Due to rapidly spreading wildfires and extreme fire conditions, Manitoba has declared a Provincial State of Emergency. Multiple wildfires are threating many communities and infrastructure. Evacuation orders and alerts are in effect in northern and eastern Manitoba. Air quality continues to be impacted. Follow all evacuation orders and emergency instructions from local authorities.
