BRITISH COLUMBIA

Snowfall Warning issued for the following highways:

Environment Canada has advised – “A low pressure system over the Gulf of Alaska will bring snow to parts of the northern and central BC interior beginning this morning and continuing until Friday morning. Period of light snow on Wednesday will transition to more consistent snowfall tonight. Snowfall may be heavy at times on Thursday. The system will move out of the region by Friday midday.” 10-15cm expected

PRAIRIE PROVINCES

Road conditions improving and all provincial travel not recommended advisories have been removed!

ONTARIO

Snow Squall Warning in effect for:

ECC advises – “Lake effect flurries and snow squalls will be heavy at times through today and may ease on Thursday before returning Friday. Road closures are possible during this week especially over areas that receive multiple snow squall bands. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Road closures are possible.

ATLANTIC CANADA

Special Weather Statement has been issued for New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

The statement issued by Environment Canada states the following – “An early-season snowfall is expected later this week. Precipitation may begin as rain for some areas, but will transition to snow as temperatures drop below the freezing mark Thursday night. Travel could become difficult with accumulating snow during the overnight hours. If you must travel, be prepared for delays and allow extra time to reach your destination. Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
