Environment Canada has issued the following statement – Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing heavy rain. Rainfall rates: 20 to 30 mm/h. Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms over the region are tracking east. Localized torrential rainfall is possible with these thunderstorms.”
