BLOWING SNOW ADVISORY ISSUED for eastern Alberta and Western Saskatchewan!
Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory stating the following – “Poor visibility in blowing snow will lead to hazardous travel conditions this afternoon. Falling snow and strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h will result in poor visibility due to blowing snow, starting late this morning and continuing through the afternoon. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”

Snow Squall Watch in effect for most of the island – up to 20cm expected under almost blizzard-like conditions. Travel conditions are expected to be hazardous. Which is said to end later tonight.
