BRITISH COLUMBIA

Environment Canada has issued the following Snowfall Warning“A front approaching from the west is giving heavy snow to White Pass. Snow will continue through this afternoon before subsiding to occasional flurries this evening. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.”

An additional Freezing Rain Warning has also been issued. ECC has stated the following – “A frontal system is moving into interior BC today. As surface temperatures hover near 0 degrees Celsius, periods of mixed precipitation with a risk of freezing rain are expected over central interior regions this morning. Areas along Highway 16 and Highway 97 including Quesnel, Williams Lake and McGregor” may be affected.

ONTARIO

Significant lake effect snow expected to continue today into tomorrow for some regions, with poor visibility at times – Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Georgian Bay.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
