ONTARIO
Snow Squall Warnings continue for regions off Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and Lake Superior.
Travel delays may continue for southwestern Ontario’s hardest hit areas as snow removal and salting efforts continue. Hwy 21 remains closed at this time and the City of London has closed all schools for a second day. Motorists on the 401 were stranded for hours last night while the surrounding areas became grid locked for those exiting the 401 looking for alternate routes.
BRITISH COLUMBIA
Environment Canada has issued a Winter Strom Warning as follows – “Total snowfall amounts will vary significantly along Highway 16; western sections such as near Robson and Tête Jaune Cache will see total amounts near 25 centimetres, whereas eastern areas can expect closer to 10 to 15 centimetres.”
SASKATCHEWAN
Road conditions on the provinces eastern side may be considered hazardous due to snow and ice covered highways with limited visibility.
