BRITISH COLUMBIA – FLOODING

Highway 3 – CLOSED – Hope to East Gate (Manning Park), landslide, culvert blowouts, and road washouts.

Sumas border open to passenger traffic Border crossing remains closed to commercial vehicles.

Highway 1 – Highway 9 to Hope – OPEN to two way traffic. Expect speed reductions.

  • East bound left lane has reopened between Highway 9 and Hope. The right lane remains closed.
  • West bound right lane open, left lane closed.

YUKON

BLIZZARD warning issued for Haines Junction to Pleasant Camp (South Klondike Hwy) from now through to end of week.  Transportation delays expected due to dangerous/impossible driving conditions and road closures.

ALBERTA

HWY 93 – Jasper to Saskatchewan River Crossing – Heavy snow will contribute to challenging road conditions – 50cm expected.  Transportation delays and service/utility outages expected.

SASKATCHEWAN

WINTER STORM – POTENTIAL BLIZZARD CONDITIONS expected for southern regions heading into Wednesday morning. Up to 25cm of snow, risk of freezing rain and strong winds expected.  All travel should be rescheduled – transportation delays will occur.  Travel not recommended currently in the Humboldt region.
