SASKATCHEWAN

Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for northern regions of the province including Hwy 165 (between highways 2 and 914 including Pinehouse Lake).

Environment Canada advises the following – “Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain. Severe thunderstorms are possible this morning. Thunderstorms will move toward the east with the severe risk lasting until late morning. Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.”

QUEBEC

Rainfall Warning continues for regions north of Rimouski – an additional 20 – 40mm may be expected.

Storm Surge Warning in effect for the Quebec area. ECC has stated – ” Warning of potential coastal flooding issued jointly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Science) and the Meteorological Service of Canada – Quebec Region. Higher than normal water levels are expected near the coast Wednesday morning. A northeasterly flow will bring moderate winds on the region mentioned below. The combination of these winds and the fact that we are currently in a period of high tidal range might give minor flooding along coastlines in the vicinity of the following locality on the date and at the times specified (local time).”
