Landslide closes only direct route between West Kelowna and Vernon.
Westside Rd, in both directions. Landslide between Main St and Denison Rd for 0.3 km (13 km east of West Kelowna). Road closed. Assessment in progress. Alternate route via Highway 97.
ALBERTA
Snowfall warning for southwestern regions – up to 30cm possible. Travel may be delayed in regions south of Calgary due to winter road conditions.
ONTARIO
Snowfall / Winter Storm warning for northern regions – Hwy 11 into Thunder Bay – up to 25cm possible. Transportation delays expected to affect these areas.

- Flooding on HWY 427 Northbound RAMP at REXDALE BLVD / DERRY ROAD, Toronto. All lanes closed.
- Hwy 11 multiple closures from Cochrane to Geraldton
- Hwy 17 multiple closures from White River to Nipigon
QUEBEC
Freezing rain warning in effect for southern areas of the province. Up to 4mm of accretion possible which may result in dangerous road conditions affecting travel.
NEWFOUNDLAND / LABRADOR
Environment Canada has advised the following – “Snow will begin over southwestern Newfoundland this evening and spread to the southern Avalon by early Friday morning. Visibilities will deteriorate as strengthening winds combine with the fresh snowfall to create localized areas of blowing snow in southwestern Newfoundland. Conditions will improve from west to east Friday afternoon and evening as the snow tapers off. Travel could become difficult.”
