FLOOD AND LANDSLIDE EVACUATION ORDERS IN EFFECT:

  • FRASER VALLEY – SHELDON ROAD AREA, WILSON ROAD AREA
  • CENTRAL COAST REGION – OCEAN FALLS, LANEWAY, TWIN LAKES ROAD, MARTIN VALLEY (ELECTORAL AREA A)
  • BC RIVER – SOUTH COAST

Heavy rainfall is expected to continue in Fraser Valley.  Environment Canada has issued the following remark – “An atmospheric river will remain over southern B.C. through this afternoon. The heaviest rainfall is forecast to continue through noon today. With freezing levels ranging from 2000 to 2500 metres, snowmelt from higher elevations may increase the impacts associated with this rainfall event.”
