Snow squalls will lead to greatly reduced visibilities due to intense snowfall. In addition, following the passage of a cold front, temperatures will fall significantly. An arctic air mass will then sweep across the province, causing temperatures to plummet. These temperatures will combine with strong northwesterly winds to create bitterly cold conditions over many parts of Quebec. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.&#8221; &#8220;Southwesterly winds will reach up to 90 kilometres per hour this afternoon and this evening. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
