Highway 16 between Jasper NP East gates to AB/BC border is CLOSED due to heavy smoke causing unsafe conditions in the area. Highway will remain closed until 7:00 am (MT), August 12. Motorists should plan their travel accordingly.
Highway 734 between the Ram Falls Airport and Township Road 383A, south of Nordegg, CLOSED due to wildfire. A detour is not available.
